The forum aimed to shed light on the necessity to comply with the laws, regulations and specifications that control exports to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which is the biggest GCC market of more than 27 million consumers.

The index, therefore, reflects that citizen households see the prices of commodities, covered by Index, to be less high. The performance of the General Index during Q2 of 2016 was affected by the decline in all of its sub-indices, including Food Prices Index, Durable Goods Price Index, and Clothes and Cosmetics Price Index.
